Which titles do I get to choose from for the trial?

You have two options.
You can trial our eReference Backlist Collection (47 titles) for 30 days
OR
You can trial a single title (of the following) for a whole year:
Encyclopedia of Public Relations
Encyclopedia of Juvenile Justice
Encyclopedia of Health Care Management

Is eReference COUNTER Compliant?

Yes, We are in the process of becoming COUNTER certified.

Does it supply Marc Records?

Yes, this is provided free of Charge through OCLC. Contact chuck.sterling@sagepub.com with any additional questions.

Will all the titles still be available through GVRL?

Yes

If I have it on GVRL will I be able to get the eReference version for free?

The GVRL platform and the SAGE eReference platform are different and must be purchased separately.

Are there discounts if I have the print and want to buy the online version?

No discounts are offered.

Will the online version be available simultaneously with the print?

The eReference version will publish within 2 months of the print version.

Are there hosting fees?

All eReference titles are subject to the following hosting fees:

• Note that eReference hosting fees are waived for the first five years; invoicing shall begin in year 6 after the date of purchase.
• Hosting fees shall be invoiced in December of each year.

• $25.00 per title per year up to a maximum of $700
• $700.00 per year for the purchase of the total catalog

How are users authenticated?

SAGE eReference supports IP address authentication and Athens.

Do I have to renew my subscription every year?

No. There is no subscription pricing. Once you buy it, you own it.
